Steve Wonder live in Ghana One of America?s celebrated musicians, Stevie Wonder is set to perform on Saturday, April 3, 2004 at the Accra International Conference Centre in what has been dubbed ?The Stevie Wonder Benefit Concert?.
The concert which is organised by the Busia Foundation International (BFI) is in aid of under-privileged children and also to honour the musician who is a dedicated philanthropist and humanitarian.
According to Akosua Busia, the Chairperson of the BFI, proceeds from the concert will be donated to the BFI Mobile Library Drive, which will provide under-privileged children in the country with access to books and computers. This will be done via a mobile library that will drive through various communities.
In addition to Stevie?s performance and with support from other local artistes, the winner of the competition for singers who are able to sing Stevie Wonder?s song will perform on stage with the singer.
