The infectious voice and sounds of Bandana (The Royal Son of Ghana) has already earned the young reggae artiste a place in the Ghanaian music industry and reggaetton musical world. He is now rated as one of the leading influential dancehall artistes to take Ghanaian dancehall to the doorsteps of the reggetton world.

With his breakthrough song, "Moko Hoo" which was played on almost every station in Ghana and beyond, Bandana is set to release another reggae album titled ‘Royal Son’ (No Problem).? Asked why such a title, he said “Things were not alright on the first album. On this album, this is me and I have no problem with this album. Jah has no problem and so you won’t have problems when you are on Jah’s side”.

The once dreadlocks hiplife artiste now says he’s doing reggae because he wants to penetrate into the international market.

For now, his image has grown and now a big figure in the Ghanaian music industry.

Bandana’s fans are always carried away by his reggaeing skills. Recently, when he went to Adom FM for a programme by name ‘Kasahare Level’ with Castro, it was something else.

You should have listened to the way he burnt the microphone with Castro. The eight-track album features appearances from Castro and Biblical man (Governor) of Chock Still Squad.

Some of the remarkable songs on the album include ‘No Problem’, ‘Koko Ne Togbee’, Ghana (talks of the happenings in Ghana and he even recites the National Pledge of Ghana in that song).

For now, he is recording on his own and wants a good management and someone who is ready to buy the album. On this album, Bandana promises his fans that they will experience more conscious lyrics, more style, more gospels, more beats and most importantly more feelings from Ghana.

An alumni of the famous Winneba Secondary School, wants to tell his ghetto youths to live wise, be nice and respect.

“Big up to all my fans and Chock Still Squad, and ma fans outside Ghana, to my baby Rashida, Ama Boampong, Josephine, Michael, Jermaine, Cindy, Beatrice, Rita, Charlotte, Annie, Gifty, Princess and Lafayette”, Bandana said to his music family.

Bandana is poised to generate a mass of new followers as he crosses over to a completely new audience with his upcoming reggae album.
