Mon, 25 Jun 2007 Source: ghanamusic.com

Fame came early for young dancehall / raglife artiste, Reggie Zippy, who scored a smash hit with his debut album, Virgin.

With his deep voice, catchy hook and infectious dancehall rhythm, he got everyone nodding or getting ?jiggy? with his songs anytime it was played.

Reggie Zippy just returned from his globetrotting tour from Italy, Australia, Germany, Holland, Belgium and France.

?Virgin? has soared his way to hearts of Ghanaians leaving abroad so when he stepped on stage to perform, they all tagged along.

Now managed by multiple Codes, he is preparing next year?s release of his sophomore album. ?I am back from my six months tour and I have started working on the new album. I wanna take time with new album because now I know what my fans both in Ghana and outside want?, Reggie Zippy.

Reggie Zippy is ready to show the world audience that he does, indeed, have staying power. ?I never knew I had a big fan base in other countries?, he continued.

The making of the album has commenced and Reggie Zippy has penned downed artistes like Shasha Marley, Kwabena Kwabena, Agya Bomofuo, Ras Nigga and Akoo Nana.

Reggie Zippy is also quick to respond that the tour has boosted his image and wants to capitalize on it with a dancehall album.

When asked about the sound engineers he would work with, he quickly recommended Jay Q, Oteng, Morris, Kay Wa and Big Papa who are equally good to him.

Playing fifteen shows on the world tour, he also says its is better to have a hit in Ghana than to travel.

Showing real artistic maturity, Reggie Zippy wants to introduce another new artiste called Akoo Nana.

Reggie Zippy is proud of his achievements and has laid his voice on some Ghanaian based artistes in Europe and cherishes his work with Miss Alexandra.

Manager of Reggie Zippy said ?with Multiple Codes, we always bring good artistes on board, that?s why we have added Reggie Zippy?.
