Very silly judgement by the judge. Yes appeal. My problem is always on people who attend spiritual guys to seek money etc at this modern world. The judge didn't think twice on this sentence.

Mr lawyer, how much did you charge Agraada for your services as her defense counsel? Hope you charged her beyond Ghc500 since according to your plea the amount involved in her criminal activities was only Ghc540.

The story mentioned that several of his church members were defrauded. How many 540s did she steal on that day.
She stole, which makes her a thief. She can hang for all I care. Taxpayers should not work to house and feed thieves.
The lawyers is untruthful which is just a character trait of lawyers.. Agradaa's sentence will run concurrently. This means she's jailed for only 5 years in total
This is an admission that you're, not an efficient and experienced lawyer. Instead of arguing, the case in open court you want court of public opinion. My brother its too late
Stupid lawyer, why do you have to wait til Monday to file an appeal? Take the case to supreme court if possible.
Agradaa deserves another 10 years to get 25 years in all. We don't allow criminals to roam on the street.
This judgements been first of it kind is for the purpose of deterrent of which the lawyer knows of it.
He is aware of aning, he is equally aware that the criminal code is bound only on the act and not only any other law.

Is there any punishment , fine or conviction in the criminal procedure code Act 30/60 that is too excessive?
If you were a good lawyer why did you go through full trial for 3 years if you could negotiate and pay the ghc 540.00
