Not even the Fufu Grinding Machine can stop us from pounding tim tim. Hilife is Hilife whether from George Darko and Lumba with computer beats or from Dr. K Gyasi and Nana Ampadu.

  This audiophile worries too much about sound produced from live/real musical instruments. The masses don't care and enjoy their music all the same. He should leave mass entertainers alone to ply their trade.

  I worry about Highlife music. Lumba was the only one keeping it relevant over the years with his strong beats and lyrics.
  With him not around I do not see anyone carrying the mantle of highlife.

  it's not about using computer or live instruments... it's just about the contents, delivery and rhythm. DL was using instruments and so is Kojo Antwi but their music is still very much enjoyed across the globe.

  the real aura and flare around highlife is still intact, the problem is that this current artists are not doing it anymore.. they just using semblance of highlife rhythm and they throw their funky words on it.
  just like the genre Cools, Highlife is dead.. we'll have to enjoy the old tracks and be happy with that.
