EOCO is not wanting to know how he paid for that stolen vehicle, but rather from whom he purchased the stolen vehicle, and EOCO has the authority to pry that information from Shatta Wale or any other persons involved the purchase of these stolen vehicles that are being shipped from specific countries. Shatta Wale can prove his innocent by demonstrating that he's an innocent buyer of the vehicle. Judging from the what is unfolding, it appears that Shatta Wale is making more noise than being able to provide information that will prove his innocence.

Sorry, Mr. Lawyer, but Shatta Wale can't hide behind a wall while shouting that he has papers to prove his ownership of the vehicle. In a matter regarding the authorities' investigation of these luxury cars, shipped to Ghana for sale, the authorities have every right to find out the link in the chain of these shady transactions.
