  You are not alone in this experience. Many of us either because of bad experiences (some dating back to our primary school days) including being bullied, teased or mocked or betrayed by supposed friends and therefore we tend to avoid close friendships because they make us feel vulnerable even when we become successful adults in our careers.
  Massa think of people who can benefit from your friendships and support because of your experience and success. Potential friends don’t have to come from your kind of profession. In fact, it is healthier to form friendships with people from different backgrounds than yours. It is healthy to have friends that are at YOUR SOCIAL LEVEL, ALSO AT A SOCIAL LEVEL A BIT BELOW AND ALSO CULTIVATE FRIENDSHIP’S WITH ESPECIALLY THOSE WHO MAY HAVE REACHED HIGHER LEVELS THAN YOURS. NETWORKING WITH FRIENDS IS VERY IMPORTANT BECAUSE THEY CAN BE A VERY POWERFUL RESOURCE AND SUPPORT. THIS IS PARTICULARLY TRUE OF THOSE WHO MAY HAVE REACHED A HIGHER LEVEL THAN YOU BECAUSE THEY ARE THE ONES LIKELY TO CHALLENGE AND INSPIRE YOU TO ACHIEVE EVEN MORE.
  However, don’t’ rule out those who may be socially inferior to you. Some of my best and brightest investment ideas came from people way below my social standing. Kindness and consideration for those less blessed than you can yield unexpected blessings. So, for example, next time your Chauffer or Taxi driver is talking what he is saying may be what plants the seeds of your next big enterprise win.
  BE MORE OF A “GIVER” AND LESS OF A “TAKER”. AS THE HOLY SCRIPTURES SAY, “IT IS MORE BLESSED TO GIVE THAN TO RECEIVE” AND BY THE WAY HAVE YOU HAD TIME LATELY FOR THE GOD OF HEAVEN? MAKE TIME TO READ THE HOLY SCRIPTURES STARTING WITH THE NEW TESTAMENT GOSPELS OF MARK, LUKE JOGN ETC.
