'You have disgraced yourselves' - Prophet Opambour slams women in 'Russian sex video'

Founder of the Ebenezer Miracle Worship Centre, Prophet Ebenezer Adarkwa Yiadom, has weighed in on viral videos involving some Ghanaian women and a Russian man who allegedly lured them into his hotel room and secretly recorded some intimate acts.

In a video sighted by GhanaWeb on February 16, 2026, Prophet Opambour, while preaching on national television, stated that the women involved in the scandal lack self-respect.

According to him, the women have not embarrassed Ghana’s reputation but rather themselves.

“They can’t embarrass Ghana or John Mahama’s reputation. They have embarrassed themselves. Their families are not part of it. Also, the tribe they come from is not part of this embarrassment,” he said.

Prophet Opambour further argued that the women would not have engaged in such acts if they had received proper upbringing and guidance.

“If they had good advice, they wouldn’t have engaged in such a foolish act. Are they women or animals? Any woman who finds it interesting to talk about sexual activity is very easy to sleep with,” he added.

A man identified as Yaytseslav, who claims to be Russian, has been trending in Ghana after videos of his interactions with several Ghanaian women surfaced online on February 12, 2026.

Opambour ‘bites’ critics over death prophecy saga

Many of the videos captured him around the Accra Mall area, where he was seen interacting with female shoppers and acquaintances during public outings.

According to reports, he later invited some of the women to his apartment, where he allegedly recorded their conversations and private encounters using Meta glasses without their consent, before sharing the intimate content online.
