I think people outside Ghana will be monitoring the way we apply our Laws and the Judicial system. The Law is the Law. Shatta Wale and his other Accomplices should be punished severely to deter others from doing so.

They certainly don't add up. Treating one law breaker with kids' gloves while arresting others for engaging in the same conduct. What person will purchase an expensive luxury car and then claim not to know whom he purchased it from? This guy is just one among many in Ghana who have for long been patronizing the thievery luxury cars overseas for shipment to Ghana. The enablers like Shatta Wale send their requests to a point person domiciled in the USA, Canada or in Europe regarding specific vehicles that they wish to buy; that point person, who works with known car thieves, then passes on the request to car thieves; the car thieves then steal the desired cars and hand them to the point-persons who in turn quickly rush them to chop shops where vin numbers and and other things are altered; the point persons then take hold of the cars from the chop shop and places them on ships bound for Ghana; upon arrival in Ghana, the stolen cars are cleared by resident crooks and then handed over to the crooks buying the stolen vehicles. Shatta Wale's long tale about where and how he purchased that stolen car is laughable, and his claim that he doesn't know who or where the seller is clearly is the senseless excuse of a person who has a lot to hide. The Ghana government is handing Shatta Wale a gracious door out of prosecution because of the recent "Mea Ciulpa" public performance that he gave the public free of charge. Both the government and Shatta Wale should be ashamed of themselves.
