Ghanaian singer and songwriter Akwaboah has revealed the extent of his contribution to rapper Sarkodie’s popular ‘Mary’ album.
In an interview on Aluta FM, shared on Instagram on February 24, 2026, Akwaboah disclosed that he wrote about 90% of songs on the album.
“I did 90% of Mary’s album. I wrote almost every song. I think I only didn’t work on two songs on the album. I also produced the album,” he said.

Addressing rumours that Sarkodie did not acknowledge his efforts on a previous project, Akwaboah labelled the claims as untrue.
He also cautioned his fans against creating unnecessary conflict between him and the rapper.
“The statement I made was about my growth as an artist; it was not about Sarkodie. No one should go looking for trouble between Sarkodie and me,” he added.
