Clement Yaw Yeboah Abrefa during his interview with Delay
Clement Yaw Yeboah Abrefa has shared details of the emotional and social challenges he faced after marrying popular media personality Oheneni Adazoa.
He revealed that the first year of their union tested his resolve.
Speaking on The Delay Show, Abrefa explained that although he decided to marry Adazoa before ever seeing her photograph, she later sent him pictures prior to their wedding.
By 2004, they were officially married despite living in different countries at the time.
While Abrefa was in Ghana, Adazoa was based in the United Kingdom, and their marriage ceremony was conducted between their families.

However, after the wedding, the physical distance became a major emotional hurdle.
“It was a very difficult period,” he admitted.
It took about one and a half years after the marriage before Adazoa returned to Ghana in November 2005.
During that time, Abrefa said he endured ridicule and persistent questions from people around him.
“People were asking where my wife was. Some even said I had married a ghost. I heard a whole lot,” he revealed.
Despite living apart at that time, he said they maintained constant communication and spoke frequently on calls.
Abrefa said he treasured the photos she had sent him before the wedding.
“I hid one under my pillow; at a point I placed it on the pillow. When I miss her, I pick the photo and stare at it,” he shared.
When the long-awaited reunion finally happened, Abrefa said he kept his expectations simple.
“I wasn’t expecting too much; I just wanted to meet my woman, my wife.”
