'She won't even pick my calls' - Paa George laments 'betrayal' by Emelia Brobbey

Veteran Kumawood actor Paa George has expressed frustration and disappointment in actress Emelia Brobbey, describing her as ungrateful.

In a video shared on X and sighted by GhanaWeb on March 5, 2026, Paa George recounted how the actress has allegedly turned her back on him despite the role he says he played in helping her build a career.

According to Paa George, Emelia Brobbey has refused to answer his calls, adding that he finds her actions difficult and worrying to understand.

“One person that I helped in the movie industry is Emelia Brobbey, but she hasn’t helped me. She is the only person I am disappointed in.

“I don’t know what I have done to her for her to treat me this way. She doesn’t even pick up my calls, so I can’t even ask her what I did wrong,” he said.

Paa George further noted that, unlike Emelia Brobbey, some actors he has not personally helped are the ones supporting him during his time of need.

According to him, Emelia Brobbey should not make him worry too much about her before he passes on.

“Some of the other actors just call me randomly and tell me they have sent me money, but that’s not the case with Emelia Brobbey.

“She shouldn’t let me be thinking about her too much before I die. Even outsiders are helping me. If she had picked up any of my calls, I would have told her how I feel,” he added.
