'All the loads in my waist are now gone after Agradaa's return' - Angel Asiamah

Angel Asiamah, husband of Patricia Asiedu Asiamah, founder of Heaven Way Champion International Ministry, has indicated that load which he used to feel in his waist while his wife was in prison has now completely disappeared since her return to their matrimonial bed.

Speaking to congregants at the church on March 8, 2026, Angel Asiamah explained that during the months his wife was away, he often felt loads around his waist, to the point where it sometimes seemed as though he needed a walking stick to move around.

According to him, the feeling became so intense that he even wondered whether he was sick.

However, he said God revealed to him that it was not an illness but rather the absence of what he described as “that thing” he needed.

He said everything changed when his wife returned home, adding that the load in his waist which he used to feel has now vanished as his wife now lies beside him in bed.

“As I stand in front of you now, I have my partner lying beside me in bed. If I stretch my hand, it touches things. Some months ago, whenever I walked, my waist felt so heavy that it was like I needed a walking stick. But God told me I wasn’t sick, it was that thing. Today, all the weight that was on my waist is completely gone as my partner is back,” he said in Twi dialect.

Angel Asiamah further noted that when people now complain about illness, he believes the issue may go beyond health alone. According to him, in some cases, the problem might be that a person does not have a wife lying beside them in bed.

Nana Agradaa had been away for about eight months after serving a jail term following her conviction by an Accra Circuit Court on multiple charges, including defrauding by false pretence and charlatanic advertisement.

The charges were linked to her promotion of a money-doubling scheme during a church service at her ministry in Weija in the Greater Accra Region.
