This man broke his oath of office by committing a High crime to wit soliciting and collecting bribe from an aircraft seller, brought Dumsor that decimated all small and medium sized enterprises throwing millions into unemployment,supervised the payment if over $1billion in fraudulent judgement debts,which the Nana Addo's government refused or neglected to investigate ànd/or prosecute,he signed among other fraudulent contracts and a take or pay energy contract worth $600million per year which the country is still paying,10yrs ago means $6billion and still counting,which mentally sound person will sign such a contract without personal interest? You saw how NDC prosecuted their 2024 election campaign,did it look like a party in opposition? Meanwhile,they campaigned with no policy or program because they had none meaning they spent 8yrs in opposition and planned nothing and came to power with nothing,they were even surprised with the extent of their undeserved electoral victory.Their leader back with cluelessness and incompetence with with windfall from the gold masking it. In Bernard’s case, “ɔtoto na ano” — the vehicle they use to lure you was simply a way to avoid guilt.

Now, haven’t you wondered? A country like Ghana, which has mined over 180 million ounces of gold in the past 100 years, yet shows no major development. Obuasi alone has contributed close to 50 million ounces. Compare Obuasi to Johannesburg and the difference is striking.

Let me give an example: Okukuseku. An exploration company once wanted to build a primary school to Western standards. Then a paramount chief, who happens to be my friend, asked me to speak to the leader so he could get 1% of the figure — meaning the country would lose 99%.

There is massive repatriation of our resources because of Okukuseku.
A Western gold exploration company spends 30 million dollars and sells at 220 million to another Western company.
Recently, we gave out 28 billion dollars’ worth of gold and still counting — for just 1 billion. That’s only 7 million ounces out of the 180 million ounces story. CAN YOU IMAGINE THE REST OF THE 173 MILLION OUNCES?

And this scenario is only for gold. Imagine what is happening to our bauxite, manganese, diamond, lithium, oil, timber, and cocoa, where there is even less attention.

If you want to know the true picture and the level of Okukuseku’s destruction, simply compare Johannesburg’s 60 million ounces and the development the city has seen, with Obuasi’s 50 million ounces and her lack of development.

The major culprits are the Okukusekus heading our institutions and our body politics.
