'Marry and unlock sperm built in your waist' - Korankye Ankrah tells single men

The General Overseer of Royalhouse Chapel International, Sam Korankye Ankrah, has taken a swipe at male members of his church over their reluctance to marry.

In a video making waves on X and sighted by GhanaWeb on March 18, 2026, Apostle Sam Korankye Ankrah, while preaching to his congregation, urged the men in the church to take responsibility and settle down with the single women.

According to him, many young men in the church are facing “waist problems” due to what he described as a build-up of sperm as a result of delaying marriage.

“You must marry by faith. You are 35 or 36 years old, and your waist is locked because sperm has built up. As a young man, you are not even walking properly. What are you waiting for? Get up, propose to a woman here, and marry. Can’t you see my women are growing old? Foolish boys,” he said.

Apostle Sam Korankye Ankrah further revealed that a significant number of marriages blessed by the church involve people from outside the congregation.

He recounted how he got married at the age of 26, despite having no money at the time, saying he relied solely on faith.

“When we held our council meeting, resident pastors reported on marriages that took place in 2025. Out of about 50 marriages blessed here, 25 were from outside.

“Only 25 came from this big Royal Auditorium. What nonsense! Rise up and marry, and stop fooling. I married at the age of 26. I had no money, but I moved by faith, and look at where faith has brought me.

“If you are a lady, rise and go to a man and tell him: if you are not married, then marry. If you are married, stay with your wife,” he added.
