Adom Kyei Duah (L) responds to Ola Michael (R) over comments made about ‘Yesu Mogya’
The founder of Believers Worship Centre (Philadelphia Movement), Stephen Adom Kyei Duah, has taken a swipe at media personality Ola Michael over comments he made about ‘Yesu Mogya.’
On March 20, 2026, Ola Michael, host of Entertainment Review on Peace FM, criticised the sale of ‘Yesu Mogya,’ a popular drink sold to Adom Kyei Duah’s congregants as the Blood of Jesus.
Members of the Philadelphia Movement believe the drink possesses the healing power of Jesus. It is taken both as medicine and as a means of protection against spiritual attacks.
However, Ola Michael has dismissed these claims, insisting that any preacher who sells such items is misleading the congregation.
“Anyone who tells you that something called ‘Yesu Mogya’ is sold in church is not telling the truth. Yesu Mogya cannot be sold,” he said.
Responding to the remarks, Stephen Adom Kyei Duah said although his name was not mentioned directly, he believes the comments were aimed at him.

Addressing his congregation on March 22, 2026, he said a presenter from Despite Media had chosen to attack their faith on the radio.
He went on to praise the company’s owner, Osei Kwame Despite, describing him as someone he respects and admires in Ghanaian society, while brushing aside the criticism from Ola Michael.
Adom Kyei Duah added that out of respect for the businessman, he would not dwell on the issue, likening the situation to that of a respected friend whose child behaves waywardly.
“I came across a presenter from Despite Media who seems intent on insulting us, but don’t let that trouble you. I have great respect and admiration for Dr Osei Kwame Despite, so I see the presenter’s actions like that of a friend’s child behaving poorly, something you overlook out of respect for the parent,” he told the congregation.
