Abena Moet is a Ghanaian entertainment personality
Ghanaian entertainment pundit Abena Moet has stirred reactions online following comments she made during a discussion on Neat FM regarding women and submission to men.
In a video shared on Instagram on April 3, 2026, Abena Moet stated that women are not required to be submissive to every man.
According to her, while a woman can be submissive to her husband, she should not be judged based on how she relates to male colleagues at work.
“The Bible says women should be submissive to their husbands, not to all men. You cannot judge a woman’s character based on how you see her outside. How I behave at work does not determine how I behave at home,” she said.
Abena Moet further noted that men must also make sacrifices for their marriages to succeed.

According to her, marriage should not be one-sided, stressing that it takes both partners to make it work.
She added that the narrative that the success of a marriage depends solely on a woman’s efforts must change.
“When are we also going to tell men to sacrifice certain things to make their marriages work? We keep telling women to sacrifice all the time,” she added.
