Ghanaian self-acclaimed prophet and content creator, Evans Eshun, popularly known as Ebo Noah, has recounted the ordeal he went through after being remanded for claiming to have received a divine vision predicting a global flood on December 25, 2025.

In an interview with Kwaku Manu, monitored by GhanaWeb on April 3, 2026, Ebo Noah revealed that after spending two weeks on remand, a fellow inmate coached him on what to say before appearing in court.

According to him, the guidance he received played a significant role in his case, adding that everything the inmate told him eventually unfolded in court.

“I was scared when I was arrested. I was taken to the Cantonments Police Station. When I got to the cells, the inmates encouraged me. There was a man I met who asked what I had done. After I explained everything, he advised me on what to say. He has been there for 16 years.

“He coached me on what to say, and everything he told me happened. Can you imagine? The judge said the same things. I was shocked,” he said.

Ebo Noah also noted that, contrary to the harsh experiences many people associate with prison, he was warmly received by the inmates.

“The inmates didn’t maltreat me; they were rather happy to see me. They encouraged me and assured me that nothing would happen to me. One of them even gave me a chair. When I make money one day, I will go back and support them,” he added.

In December 2025, Ebo Noah went viral in several videos where he was seen displaying boats and building materials, claiming he had constructed ten arks. However, a police official later stated that these claims were false following investigations.
