'She dragged me into this!' — Efua Asantewaa’s husband clears the air

Amid the ongoing controversies surrounding the marriage of Guinness World Record singathon contender Efua Asantewaa, new details have emerged.

In a recent interview with Quophi Okyeame, shared on YouTube on April 4, 2026, her husband, Kofi Owusu Aduonum, opened up about how he became involved in the social media discussions.

According to him, he is a private person and was unwillingly drawn into the public space, despite facing trolling online.

He added that he sometimes reads the comments and laughs them off.

“Because I have been in the fraternity for some time, I read some of the comments and laugh. I am a very private person, but as you pointed out, Efua is the one who dragged me into all this,” he said.

When further questioned about something he would never trade for money, Kofi Owusu Aduonum stated that he would never cheat on his wife.
