'It's an insult to our intelligence' - MC Yaa Yeboah chides Afua Asantewaa's husband

Following Kofi Owusu Aduonum’s appearance on United Showbiz to address his marital issues, which have recently been topical on social media, MC Yaa Yeboah reacted to his submission.

During the April 11, 2026, edition of the show, MC Yaa Yeboah, one of the panellists, expressed her disappointment in Kofi Owusu Aduonum’s explanation, stating that she was dissatisfied with his responses.

According to her, Mr Aduonum’s explanation was an insult to her intelligence.

“I am disappointed in him because, for a man of his calibre, who is well-educated and a journalist, to say that what his wife said about the separation was a joke, is an insult to our intelligence,” she said.

MC Yaa Yeboah further argued that Afua Asantewaa’s husband did not need to explain his side of the story on national television, adding that his responses did not add up.

“The interview he granted was unnecessary, but I wish them all the best. They should manage their home affairs well,” she added.

Meanwhile, Kofi Owusu Aduonum, during the discussion on United Showbiz, disclosed that they have resolved their marital differences.

He explained that he and Afua Asantewaa have met, addressed their issues, and are now on good terms.
