A-Plus (L) has challenged MC Yaa Yeboah (M) and Abena Moet (R) over some allegations made on UTV
Member of Parliament for Gomoa Central, Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A-Plus, has clashed with media personalities MC Yaa Yeboah and Abena Moet during a discussion on United Showbiz.
During the April 11, 2026, edition of the show, MC Yaa Yeboah claimed that some Ghanaian musicians are fond of promoting fraudulent activities in the country.
She cited the Gomoa Easter Carnival, where certain artistes publicly appealed to authorities to release Abu Trica, who might face extradition to the United States over alleged involvement in a romance scam.

“Musicians have been on stage where they encourage fraud... Apart from that, they have been seen, while performing, encouraging fraud,” she said.
A-Plus immediately challenged her, demanding specific names and evidence.
“Who is the fraudster you are talking about? Who has engaged in fraud that people are encouraging? You are stating on this show that some artistes went on stage to encourage fraud. What evidence do you have?
“Give me an example. If you cannot give one example, then talk about something else. Otherwise, you are either lying or misleading us,” he said.
In response, Abena Moet claimed that Kwaw Kese was seen in a video publicly promoting fraud after appealing to the government to free Abu Trica, whom she described as a fraudster.
She argued that Abu Trica could be described as a fraudster due to his ongoing legal issues and possible extradition.

However, A-Plus challenged her claim, demanding proof that any court in Ghana had declared Abu Trica a fraudster.
“Abu Trica is the fraudster? Which court found him guilty of being a fraudster? They have even given him 15 days to appeal. No court in Ghana has found him guilty. He is only being asked to go and answer questions in America,” he added.
