Allo Danny rebranded to Dannygfc in 2024
When global internet sensation IShowSpeed hosted a Ghana livestream, one moment stood out for many viewers: a young Ghanaian dancer whose energetic performance stopped the scroll and introduced him to a worldwide audience almost instantly.
That dancer was Dannygfc, and the viral clip arguably marked the beginning of a new chapter for a talent that had been quietly building for years.
Born Daniel Asiedu on October 24, 2003, the dancer had long operated under the name Allo Danny before officially rebranding to Dannygfc in 2024, a change that appeared to signal a more focused and ambitious direction for his career.
A student at the University of Ghana, Legon, where he is pursuing Human Resource Development and Information Studies, Dannygfc is also a member of celebrated dancer Dancegod Lloyd's DGL Academy, the training ground behind some of Ghana's most recognisable modern dance talents.
Since the rebrand, his trajectory has risen sharply. He has performed at the Promiseland Festival, Zaama Disco, the Indomie Festival across its 2024 and 2025 editions, the Telecel Ghana Music Awards 2025, the Headies Awards 2025, Afro Vibes Dubai, Rapperholic Kumasi 2025, and the Oyofe Festival in Spain—building an international footprint that few dancers his age can match.
Beyond the stage, he has served as a red carpet host for the Telecel Ghana Music Awards in both 2024 and 2025 and has secured brand partnerships with Ecobank, Coca-Cola, Fanta, and FanIce, as well as a GC Brand Ambassador role.
He has also shared stages with some of Ghana's biggest names, including Black Sherif, King Promise, Shatta Wale, KiDi, and Wendy Shay.
It all started with a Talented Kids appearance back in 2017.
Now, with a viral global moment under his belt and a rebranded identity driving his next phase, Dannygfc is making a strong case for his place among Ghana's most exciting young entertainment personalities.
