Scott Evans is a Ghanaian gospel musician
Ghanaian gospel musician Scott Evans has opened up about his creative direction and influence in the music industry.
He stated that his sound has played a key role in shaping a major category at the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMAs).
Speaking in an interview on Hitz FM on April 14, 2026, the artiste explained that producers who want to work with him must first understand his unique style.
“Before a producer comes to me, the producer must observe and study my style to know that this is where I fall,” he said.
Scott Evans noted that although he has experimented with different sounds in some of his songs, his core focus remains consistent.
“I think I’ve done a few songs, trying different sounds and sounding different on one or two records. `Grateful’ is more like a churchy song, but that’s not my main focus,” he shared.

According to him, his ultimate goal is to lead and define his musical space while inspiring others who follow his sound.
“My main focus is leading the pack. I have a pack of wolves behind me,” he stated.
The musician further expressed a strong belief that his work has significantly contributed to the creation of the Urban Contemporary gospel category at the TGMAs.
“I think most of what I do is what engineered and inspired the Urban contemporary category in the TGMAs. I believe strongly that I’m one of the reasons why that category has been established,” he asserted.
He emphasized the need for consistency and dedication to his sound as he continues to grow in the industry.
“Therefore, I need to keep up, be consistent and remain faithful to that brand of sound,” he added.
