Dulcie defends GH¢10,000 'Porials Pitch' stand fee

Founder of Accra-based retail exhibition and networking event Porials Pitch, cum social media influencer Dulcie Boateng, has responded to individuals who frequently criticise her upcoming event.

In a video making waves online, Dulcie Boateng, while explaining her reason for charging about GH¢10,000 for vendor stands, noted that individuals who chastise her do not understand the vision behind the pricing.

She said her main goal is for vendors who acquire stands at her event to completely sell out, as thousands of patrons will be attending the event.

“A lot of people do not share that same vision. They may not even understand it because if they did, they wouldn’t be asking why we charge GH¢10K for a stand. But we are here because we know what we can achieve with what we have on Saturday.

“I asked how you are feeling, and some of you have responded. I can see from your faces that you’ve been preparing and are tired. You are hoping to reach your targets, but you cannot achieve them without determination. Thousands of people will be here on Saturday, and it is up to you to make sure they do not leave without buying,” she said.

Dulcie Boateng further encouraged vendors who have secured stands at the upcoming event to remain focused and determined to make sales.

“We want transactions at every stand. There are about a hundred of us, and there will be millions of cedis circulating here. Everyone attending has a goal; they are coming to buy from you. That is the purpose of this event.

“Assume that everyone coming has money. This is not a random event; it is specifically designed for shoppers. So do not sit and watch money pass you by. You have come this far. We have prepared and advertised for months,” she added.
