Industry best friends, Mr Eazi and King Promise
Ghanaian Afrobeats musician King Promise and Nigerian musician-turned-business mogul Mr Eazi have opened up about the origins of their long-standing friendship, revealing that their bond dates back to 2013.

At the time, both artistes were in the early stages of their careers.
Mr Eazi and I once went two years without talking to each other - King Promise
“We met in 2013. We met in Adenta Lotto Kiosk. I’m in Klu’s studio. And mind you, Klu’s studio was actually in his house,” Mr Eazi said
According to them, their connection was instant, leading to the creation of a song on the very day they met. That initial chemistry laid the foundation for a friendship that has endured for over a decade.
“We became really cool on the first day, we actually wrote a song on the first day we met, and the friendship has flourished over the years,” King Promise elaborated
Over the years, King Promise and Mr Eazi have remained close, witnessing each other’s growth and evolution within the music industry as they rose to prominence.
The pair are now marking that journey with a joint project, releasing their debut collaborative album, “See What We’ve Done,” a nine-track body of work that celebrates their friendship and shared musical journey.
