According to a press release issued by Charterhouse Productions on April 16, 2026, guests at this year's ceremony are being encouraged to incorporate subtle elements of shimmer into their outfits, whether through fabric choices, embellishments, or accessories.

"For TGMA 27, guests are encouraged to incorporate subtle elements of shimmer into their outfits — whether through fabric choices, embellishments, or accessories. The goal is not excess, but elegance: a refined sparkle that enhances personal style while contributing to a cohesive and visually striking red-carpet experience," the statement said.

The TGMA red carpet has long been one of the most anticipated moments of the awards night, serving as a platform for bold fashion statements and the celebration of Ghanaian identity through style.

The red carpet is scheduled for May 9, 2026, at 7:00 PM.
