Robert Klah is the PRO for Charterhouse
The Telecel Ghana Music Awards will this year be held at the Palms Convention Center at Labadi, Charterhouse has confirmed.
Robert Klah, Head of Public Events and Communications at Charterhouse, confirmed this in an exclusive interview with GhanaWeb's Isaac Dadzie on April 17, 2026.
According to him, the new venue is the organisation's fallback option following the unavailability of the Grand Arena.
"That is our Plan B. Our Plan A was where we have always been, the Grand Arena, but for now we have to use our Plan B,” he noted.

He, however, noted that should the Grand Arena become available quickly enough, the awards would be moved back there.
“If our Plan A comes back on the menu with alacrity, we will go back there," he said.
The confirmation comes a day after Klah revealed on Hitz FM that Charterhouse was still scouting for a venue, with authorities overseeing the land on which the Grand Arena sits having asked that the premises be vacated.
The Palms Convention Centre holds approximately 2,500 people, significantly below the Grand Arena's capacity of about 4,500.
The TGMA 27 is still scheduled for May 9, 2026.
