I don’t plan to have another child out of wedlock - Kisa Gbekle

Ghanaian actress and film producer Kisa Gbekle has disclosed her desire to have more children in the future, but says that will only happen after she gets married.

Speaking in an interview with Nana Romeo on Atuu on April 18, 2026, Kisa Gbekle said she would love to have two or three more children.

According to her, although she already has one child and is content, she still hopes to expand her family at the right time and within marriage.

“I love children, and I wish to have an extra two or three. That will only happen when I marry, but not out of wedlock. I have one already, and it’s fine,” she said.

Kisa Gbekle also opened up about the prayers she made before giving birth to her son.

She explained that at the time, she had nothing material to show off and only hoped that her child would be exceptionally beautiful.

“Before I had my son, I prayed to God that I wouldn’t have anything to flaunt aside the baby in my belly. What I want is, when someone looks at him, they should turn and stare at him more,” she stated.

The actress said she later began having dreams about visiting people and admiring their children, only to be told that the children she found beautiful were boys and not girls.

According to her, that same experience now happens in real life with her own son, as many people often mistake him for a girl because of his looks.

“I started dreaming of going to people’s houses, and whenever I saw them with their children, I would say, ' The child is beautiful.' They would then tell me the child is a boy and not a girl. That’s what actually happens to me now,” she shared.

Kisa Gbekle added, “Everywhere we go, they would say my child is beautiful, then I would correct them that my child is a boy. He is so handsome to the extent that people mistake him for a girl.”
