Highlife musician Kwaisey Pee has expressed openness to polygamy, saying it is something he would consider in the future.
Speaking in an interview on Peace FM, monitored by GhanaWeb on Wednesday, April 22, the artiste shared his candid views on relationships and why he believes the practice can work.
"If there's no peace here, there'll be peace there," he said when asked whether he believes in polygamy.
He doubled down on his position, adding: "I believe in it, yes. For real… there can't be issues at both ends at the same time."
When asked whether he is already practising it, Kwaisey Pee clarified that he is not, but remains open to the idea.
"I would love to practise… not yet," he admitted.
His remarks have since sparked conversations about modern relationships and cultural attitudes towards polygamy.
