Ghanaian content creator and influencer Gisela Amponsah has expressed uncertainty over the praises being directed at President John Dramani Mahama.
According to her, she has not personally experienced any improvements to justify such commendations.
Speaking in a recent interview with Nana Romeo on Okay FM, she noted that her daily reality does not reflect the positive narratives she has been hearing.
“I can’t say anything about Ghanaians praising President Mahama because I don’t know what he is being praised for. I’ve not personally experienced anything for me to think he’s doing well or not,” she said.

Gisela Amponsah said she is unable to identify any specific achievement by the president that warrants the level of praise being expressed.
“I can’t pinpoint exactly what he has done to deserve praises,” she shared.
She also highlighted ongoing power outages, commonly referred to as Dumsor, as part of her lived experience, suggesting that such challenges persist in her area.
“Dumsor still happens in my area. Even when I was leaving home today, there was no light,” she added.
I can’t pinpoint exactly what Prez Mahama has done that deserves praises. Even when I was leaving home this morning, there was Dumsor.
