Former Kumawood actor, once known in the entertainment industry as Cyborg and now identifying as Evangelist Victor Moses, has opened up about his past involvement in dark spiritual practices before fully embracing Christianity.
In an interview with Kay B Media aired on April 29, 2026, the ex-actor disclosed that during his time in what he described as a “worldly” space, he was bound by strict instructions tied to charms he received from fetish priests.
He recounted being forbidden from eating with others at certain times and being required to wear spiritual rings.
He revealed that he kept a charm pot in his room filled with knives, nails, broken metals, and other foul-smelling items. At midnight, he was instructed to go naked and bathe with the contents of the pot to fortify himself.
“There were times I was expected to do certain things. At midnight, I was supposed to wake up, go naked, and bathe with the pot in the room,” he said.
Cyborg disclosed that he used his supposed spiritual fortification to support illegal mining activities, commonly known as “galamsey.”

He claimed that some individuals at a mining site plotted evil against him.
He recalled one incident where an armed man wielding an AK-47 stopped his car while transporting gold to Obuasi.
Believing in the power of a new spiritual ring given to him by his ‘priest’, he felt protected. But he was shot twice in the stomach at close range, and the attacker fled with the gold.
Collapsing from the gunshots, he described feeling as though he had died. In that moment, despite being a Muslim at the time, he began speaking in tongues and heard a voice telling him, “Go, but don’t be scared.”
He was rushed to a nearby hospital and later transferred to Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, where doctors initially hesitated to treat him, suspecting he was an armed robber.
It was only after a nurse recognised him as an actor that he received medical attention.
While bedridden, Cyborg said he experienced visions of a person dressed in white garments attending to him. Each time, he woke up feeling strengthened.
He also recounted how a woman once told him that visions of him always appeared with him lying in a coffin. This revelation, he said, was pivotal in his decision to abandon his former practices.
“She said my strength was very strange because anytime she had a vision, she saw me laid to rest in a coffin. That’s when I said I had to surrender,” he noted.
Cyborg said a young pastor named Morgan invited him to join prayer sessions at the Atweaa Mountains. He accepted, describing the decision as the turning point in his life.
Today, Evangelist Victor Moses says he is fully devoted to Christ, leaving behind the rituals and charms that once defined his existence.
