Ghanaian international wedding MC and comedian, Shegelabobor, has said he is open to hosting gay weddings if invited, especially in countries where such ceremonies are legally recognised.
In a video shared on his Instagram page on May 3, 2026, the Europe-based MC, during a rapid-fire question segment, was asked whether he would accept an opportunity to host a same-sex wedding.
Responding to the question, Shegelabobor made his position clear, stressing his belief in inclusiveness and stating that he would host a gay-themed wedding in Europe without fear or favour.
“So I live in Canada, where I shuttle between America and Europe, and I believe in all inclusiveness. I’m Mr Luxurious, and I will host an LGBTQ wedding with pride in America, Canada, and Europe, without fear or favour. So hit me up, I will be there,” he said.

The international MC, known for hosting high-profile events across different countries, also shared what drives his passion for the job.
According to him, the happiness of couples and families during such occasions is what gives him the greatest satisfaction.
“Me seeing families and couples excited, me seeing people happy… it doesn’t just give me joy… it gives me fulfilment. If I get the chance and fulfilment to contribute to the lives of people to make sure their big days become memorable and special, it doesn’t just give me joy, especially when they used months, weeks to plan this, and all I have to do is to make them have a good time,” he added.
