Agradaa threatened to take the child from a woman over false claims against her husband
The woman who accused Angel Asiamah, husband of Evangelist Patricia Asiamah (Nana Agradaa), of fathering a child with her during Agradaa’s imprisonment has publicly apologised.
Her brother, speaking on her behalf, explained how the allegation came about.
He clarified that Angel Asiamah is not the child’s father, but rather the claim was fabricated after community members repeatedly stated that the child resembled Agradaa.
He said the people then decided to create content around the situation.
“The truth is that Angel Asiamah is not the father of my sister’s daughter. Apparently, people living in this community have been saying that her daughter resembles Agradaa. I can also testify that the child looks like her, but we were having a funeral here, of which we had a blogger who joined us. The blogger also attested to the fact that the child looks like Mama Pat.

“They decided to create content, but I wasn’t present at the time of the content creation. I was here today when my sister came to me, claiming the video had landed her in trouble. I watched the clip and realised she didn’t talk well. I am here with my sister to apologise,” he said.
The woman also rendered an unqualified apology to the evangelist, stating that she would not have agreed to the content if she had known it would escalate.
“I am very sorry, Mama Pat, I didn’t know the video would go this far. Please, it will not happen again,” she pleaded.
The woman went viral after earlier claiming she had been involved in a secret romantic affair with Angel Asiamah during Agradaa’s time in prison between July 2025 and March 2026.
She alleged that Agradaa’s husband had fathered a child with her and neglected his responsibilities.
The young woman also stated that she intended to give the alleged child to Angel Asiamah to care for.
Agradaa’s response
Fuming with anger, Agradaa took to social media to respond to the woman’s claims.
She declared that she would pursue serious legal steps to secure custody of the child the woman had falsely claimed her husband fathered.
Agradaa further vowed to make the woman a scapegoat, stressing that her actions would serve as a deterrent to others who might attempt to concoct lies against people online.
