Ghanaian model Faith Maria Porter
The La Palm Royal Beach Hotel on Friday, May 1, 2026, hosted the outdooring ceremony of Ghanaian model Faith Maria Porter at the Ghanaian Village, following her strong performance at the Miss Grand International 2025 pageant in Thailand.
The event, organised in collaboration with the Models Union of Ghana, was aimed at formally introducing her to key stakeholders in the modelling and fashion industry after her international achievement.
Faith Maria Porter represented Ghana at Miss Grand International 2025, where she placed 3rd Runner-Up, earning global recognition and raising the country’s profile on the international stage.
The ceremony brought together model agency executives, scouts, creatives, influencers, and other stakeholders in the fashion industry.
She was presented with a citation in recognition of her achievement and her contribution to promoting Ghana internationally.
The event also featured runway presentations by selected models, adding glamour to the evening as designers showcased creative fashion pieces.
Influencer and TikTok personality Quecy Official also attended the ceremony and spoke in support of Porter, highlighting her consistency, determination, and growth throughout her pageant journey.
Key industry figures addressed the gathering, including Ryan, President and CEO of Versatile Model of Ghana Agency; Kobby Mensah, Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Tourism Development Company and Special Guest of Honour; and Isaac Gyadu, Chief Executive Officer of La Palm Royal Beach Hotel.
They emphasised the need to support Ghanaian talent, strengthen the modelling industry, and create more international opportunities for local models.
The event also served as a networking platform for stakeholders to discuss the future growth and development of Ghana’s modelling and fashion sector.
