'Dr Ofori Sarpong is my cousin; he introduced me to real estate' - Bishop Obinim

Founder of the International God’s Way Church, Daniel Obinim, has spoken about his relationship with business mogul Dr Ernest Ofori Sarpong.

According to Obinim, he and Dr Ofori Sarpong are cousins who grew up together in the same household.

Speaking at the 60th birthday soiree of Dr Ernest Ofori Sarpong on May 5, 2026, Obinim explained that the businessman was the first to introduce him to real estate investment.

“We are family. He is my senior brother. My mother comes right after his father. Even though he is older than me, we grew up in the same house. It was his father, Mr Sarpong, who led me to marry my wife. It is my brother Ofori Sarpong who introduced me to the real estate business,” Obinim said.

Dr Ernest Ofori Sarpong celebrated his 60th birthday in grand style, hosting an exclusive and plush dinner at the Despite Automobile Museum.
