Kofi Kinaata grabs Best Highlife Song of the Year Award at TGMA 2026

Ghanaian musician Kofi Kinaata has won the Best Highlife Song of the Year award at the 27th edition of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA 2026).

Kinaata beat competition from, King Paluta, Foko, Kwabena Kwabena ft Stonebwoy & Kofi Kinaata, Asor Remix, Amerado, Obi Adi, Kuami Eugene, Do Better to claim the coveted award on May 10, 2026 with his song “It is finished”

The 27th Telecel Ghana Music Awards has attracted excitement and high expectations from music lovers across the country, as hardworking musicians are being honoured for their achievements in 2025.

However, all eyes remain on the night’s biggest award, Artiste of the Year, which features strong competition from Medikal, Black Sherif, Wendy Shay, Stonebwoy, Sarkodie and Diana Hamilton.
