An old interview of Ghanaian actress Beverly Afaglo has resurfaced online, capturing the actress emotionally opening up about her fears of cancer due to her family’s medical history.
In the interview with Joy News, Beverly Afaglo revealed that both her father and sister died from cancer, leaving her constantly worried that she could also develop the disease someday.
“My life is at risk now because now I can confirm it’s in my genes,” she said during the interview.

The actress disclosed that her late sister battled several forms of cancer before passing away.
According to her, the illness spread to different parts of her sister’s body over time.
“Oh, she went through different types of cancers, from the breast to the spine, to the brain, to the blood, everywhere,” Beverly recounted emotionally.
The actress explained that witnessing her sister’s suffering and losing close family members to the disease had left her living in constant fear because cancer now feels like something deeply rooted in her bloodline.
Despite her fears, Beverly Afaglo used the opportunity to encourage people to take their health seriously and do everything they can to avoid it.
The resurfaced video has since sparked emotional reactions online, with many social media users speculating that she also died of the disease.
