Ghanaian preacher Rev Dr Nanayaa Prempeh has urged young people to place their trust in God and avoid lifestyles that could negatively impact their future.
She made the appeal at a recent Christian gathering organised by the Authority Bible Church at the La Palm Beach Hotel in Accra on Sunday, May 31, 2026, under the theme “Come Taste and See.”
The event, according to her, was inspired by the testimony of her twin sister, Mama Francisca Duncan-Williams, who has reportedly recovered from multiple surgeries.
Rev Dr Prempeh described her sister as a “dancing partner, friend, and mother figure,” adding that she wanted people to witness how God had demonstrated His healing power in her life.
Addressing the congregation, she encouraged young people to rely on God rather than their own understanding, noting that life comes with many challenges, including addiction and personal struggles.

“Put your trust in God. God will help you to come out of it. You can’t do it by yourself. Life has a lot of challenges,” she said.
She cautioned the youth against seeking success through immoral practices such as drug abuse, alcoholism, and promiscuity, stressing that such choices do not lead to lasting fulfilment or prosperity.
“It is not selling your body that will make you famous or rich. It is not doing drugs, smoking, drinking, or living a promiscuous life. It is giving your life to Christ,” she added.
Rev Dr Prempeh further encouraged young people to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour, build a personal relationship with God, and allow Him to guide their steps.
She described God as a covenant-keeping Father who blesses, protects, and strengthens those who put their faith in Him, adding that surrendering to God can help individuals overcome destructive habits and bondage.
Concluding her message, she reminded the congregation of Christ’s invitation to the weary, saying, “God loves you, and Jesus loves you, and He is ready to set you free,” while urging young people to turn to God for healing, rest, and transformation.
