The father of Ghanaian singer Olivetheboy has made a startling allegation against former Deputy Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Mark Okraku-Mantey.

In a video shared on X and sighted by GhanaWeb, Olivetheboy's father recounted an incident in which he claims he was humiliated by Okraku-Mantey after seeking his assistance with a song he had recorded.

According to him, Okraku-Mantey allegedly threw away a CD containing his music in his presence, an act he described as disrespectful and deeply humiliating.

Most ministers don't like the title 'honourable' – Mark Okraku-Mantey claims

“I don't think Mark Okraku-Mantey will remember this. I recorded a demo, and my uncle advised me to submit it to him. So, I took the CD to his office at Circle.

“After listening to the CD, he removed it from the player and threw it away,” he claimed.

He further stated that the incident left him devastated and ruined his entire day.

“After he threw away the CD, I became very sad. It really affected me that day. I don't think he would even recognise me now,” he added.
