Chef Nhyiraba Zulaiha has officially embarked on an ambitious 192-hour cook-a-thon in a bid to set a new Guinness World Record for the longest cooking by an individual.

The record attempt commenced on Monday, June 1, 2026, at the Madina Zongo Astro Turf, where supporters, family members, and well-wishers gathered to witness the start of the challenge.

The chef is expected to spend approximately eight consecutive days cooking as she aims to complete the 192-hour marathon and secure a place in the Guinness World Records.
