Ghanaian American comedian and actor Michael Blackson has proudly spoken about his Ghanaian heritage and expressed gratitude to the Ga Mantse, King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, for warmly receiving the 233 Connect team.

In a statement shared after the meeting, Blackson reflected on his background and strong connection to Ghana despite spending much of his life abroad.

“I was born in Ghana. My mother is from Agona Nsaba, and my father is from Kumasi. I left Ghana as a child, lived in Liberia and Nigeria, and grew up in the United States,” he said.
