'LilWin is not your mate in the movie industry' - Maurice Ampaw to Dr Likee

Outspoken private legal practitioner, Maurice Ampaw, has weighed in on the recent social media feud involving actors Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as LilWin, and Dr Likee.

In a video shared on TikTok and sighted by GhanaWeb on June 5, 2026, Maurice Ampaw stated that LilWin is far ahead of Dr Likee in the movie industry.

According to him, LilWin has made significant contributions to the creative arts sector and deserves greater recognition, adding that it is unfair to compare him to Dr Likee.

“Between LilWin and Dr Likee, I will say Dr Likee is nowhere close to LilWin. I have followed this industry for a long time, and I know what is going on. LilWin has done a lot for the entertainment industry and has contributed to national development. So Dr Likee cannot be compared to LilWin,” he said.

Maurice Ampaw further argued that LilWin’s versatility sets him apart, noting that his influence extends beyond acting.

According to him, LilWin has contributed not only to the movie industry but also to music and public discourse.

“He can sing, dance, and act, and when it comes to his social, political, and religious engagements, he also does well. So, he should be respected in the industry for that.

“He is not afraid to speak his mind, and I don’t like hypocrisy, so I appreciate the way he carries himself,” he added.
