Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, has paid tribute to Nigerian stars Burna Boy, Davido, and Wizkid for their influence and contributions to the growth of African music.

Speaking in an interview with Adesope Olajide on the New Afrobeats Podcast, sighted by GhanaWeb on June 9, 2026, Shatta Wale reflected on his decision to travel to the United Kingdom on a private jet ahead of his upcoming ShattaFest event.
