LilWin is a Ghanaian actor and film producer
Ghanaian actor and producer Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as LilWin, has responded to critics who claim his relevance in the movie industry has diminished. This comes after he won two awards at the 2026 Ghana Movie Awards.
The actor, who was unable to attend the awards ceremony on June 7, 2026, later unveiled his trophies at home with his wife and children in a video shared on social media on June 8, 2026.
Reacting to comments suggesting that his career has declined, LilWin indicated that he would address his critics at the appropriate time.
“I’ve not said anything yet, but I will speak at the right time. Those who said my time has passed, I won’t say anything now,” he said.
He questioned how anyone could claim he is no longer relevant despite receiving two awards.
LilWin explodes over pressure to congratulate Dr Likee
“I’ve received two awards and you think my time has passed?” he asked.
LilWin further expressed optimism about the future, stating that he is praying for Ghana to achieve greater success and hinting that there is more to come from him.
“I’m praying that Ghana would win the World Cup and when we’re done, the media won’t be able to contain us,” he stated.
The actor also called on those who have been comparing him to others and declaring that he is no longer relevant to reconsider their claims.
“Those yapping and comparing some people to me, adding that I’m no longer relevant, should come and see the awards I received. If I’m no longer relevant, would I be winning two awards?” he noted.
LilWin added, “I’m the best actor and there’s nothing you can do about it. Thanks to everyone who voted for me.”
