Webkid's hearing has been moved to June 18, 2026
Shatta Movement fans who turned out in large numbers at the Accra High Court on Wednesday morning to support detained blogger Webkid were left disappointed after the court failed to sit, resulting in yet another adjournment of the case to June 18, 2026.
According to Gossip24, in a post on social media on June 10, 2026, Webkid, whose real name is Abdul Gafaru Sadi, will spend at least another week in custody as the legal proceedings continue to drag on.
His lawyer and Shatta Movement leaders declined to speak to reporters following the adjournment, with sources citing their visible frustration over the court's failure to sit.
Earlier in the day, dozens of supporters had gathered at the premises of the Accra High Court in support of the blogger, expecting that he would be granted bail. The development left them disappointed, with many visibly frustrated by the pace of the proceedings.
