'Okraku Mantey is the least intelligent in the industry' - Shatta Wale

Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has once again taken a swipe at former Deputy Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Mark Okraku-Mantey.

In an interview on The Bonah Show, shared on TikTok and sighted by GhanaWeb on June 16, 2026, Shatta Wale claimed that Mark Okraku-Mantey lacks in-depth knowledge of the entertainment industry.

According to the musician, Okraku-Mantey failed to fulfil promises he made to players in the creative arts sector during his time in office, adding that he did not make good use of the position he occupied.

Shatta Wale also launched a series of criticisms at the former deputy minister.

He alleged that despite Mark Okraku-Mantey’s many years of experience as an entertainment personality, he has not demonstrated enough understanding of the creative arts industry.

“Mark Okraku-Mantey is senseless. Can you see that he didn’t do anything while in office? He didn’t even benefit from his own position.

"As far as the industry is concerned, he is the only person who is not intelligent,” he said.
