Florence responds to insults in 'Benedicta Gafah-Bishop Obinim' leaked chat

Ghanaian gospel singer Florence Obinim has responded to actress Benedicta Gafah following the latter’s release of alleged WhatsApp conversations involving Bishop Daniel Obinim.

In a discussion shared on TikTok and sighted by GhanaWeb on June 17, 2026, Florence Obinim addressed portions of the leaked messages, particularly those in which she was insulted.

Reacting to Benedicta Gafah’s claim that Bishop Obinim once referred to her as an “animal” because of her appearance, Florence said she was not disturbed by the statement.

“I am not bothered because, even today, there are women who are involved with other people’s husbands. But for me, the most important thing is that I am married and I have my husband and children.

“I don’t care about someone who would come into my marriage, offend me, and then come online to leak messages claiming my husband referred to me as an animal. May God bless her,” she said.

Florence Obinim also questioned how Benedicta Gafah became comfortable enough to engage in such a conversation with her husband and speak about her in that manner.

“She claims she only came to church, but how did she get the courage to have such a conversation with my husband about me and even go further to insult me?” she added.
