Agya Koo's team was spotted in a heated exchange with angry youth
A video involving members of renowned Kumawood actor Agya Koo’s “The Base Movement” has surfaced online, capturing them in a heated altercation with youth in a local community.
The video sighted by GhanaWeb on X on June 17, 2026, captures the team exchanging words with residents of Obogu in the Asante Akyem South Constituency.
According to reports, Agya Koo and his team had visited Obogu as part of a campaign engagement.

In the process, tensions flared after a member of “The Base Movement” allegedly referred to the community as a “village.”
The comment sparked anger among the youth, who expressed frustration and disappointment.
Some residents were seen demanding that Agya Koo and his team leave the area, despite the actor’s attempts to calm the situation and resolve the disagreement.

“So we are in the bush, and yet you are here looking for our votes? Move your car from this place. How can you come here and say we are villagers but still come seeking our votes?” one of the youth retorted.
