Nollywood actor Alexx Ekubo has been laid to rest amid tears in his hometown of Arochukwu, Abia State.
It would be recalled that the actor died on May 11, 2026, at the age of 40 after battling kidney cancer.
The funeral started on Wednesday with a wake-keeping ceremony in Ujari Village, Arochukwu.
The funeral service was held on Thursday at Mary Slessor School, Amanagwu Village, Arochukwu, before the final interment at his family compound.
Various colleagues and friends of the late actor paid tribute before he was finally laid to rest.
Alexx Ekubo appeared in several Nollywood movies and was a philanthropist before his death.
