Ghanaian social media personality and musician Showboy has sparked debate online after making a series of claims about rapper and AMG Business boss Criss Waddle during a recent social media broadcast.

In a video shared on social media on June 20, 2026, Showboy alleged that Criss Waddle has extensive knowledge of the American system and maintains relationships with law enforcement officers, a situation he claims has enabled the rapper to avoid legal troubles despite his frequent international travel.

According to Showboy, Criss Waddle is more knowledgeable about life in the United States than many young Ghanaians due to his long history of travelling abroad.

“Police officers are friends with Criss Waddle. He knows more about the American system than most young Ghanaian men. When he started travelling to America, many of the guys here knew little about international travel,” he said.

Showboy further alleged that Criss Waddle possesses information that has contributed to the arrest of some individuals.

“When they catch him physically, he will sit you down and teach you how to do the job well. He is the one who leaks most of the information about who should be arrested,” he alleged.

The social commentator also claimed that Criss Waddle's relationship with law enforcement officers allows him to travel freely without facing arrest.

“He is friends with the officers, so he can travel and return without being arrested. Anytime Criss Waddle travels abroad and comes back, the FBI arrests someone in Ghana,” he claimed.

Despite the allegations, Showboy praised Criss Waddle’s intelligence, suggesting that his ability to navigate difficult situations is due to his strategic thinking.

“He is very smart. When you have a conversation with him, you realise how intelligent he is, so don’t think anyone can easily arrest him,” he stated.

Showboy also referenced a recent trip by Criss Waddle to the United Kingdom, claiming that while some of the rapper’s associates had encountered legal problems during overseas trips, Criss Waddle returned to Ghana without any issues.

“Criss Waddle went to the UK to meet some foreigners. He went to have discussions with them, but he returned without being arrested. Yet when some of his friends travelled abroad, they were arrested,” he claimed.

The musician also dismissed allegations that he was responsible for reporting individuals to authorities, insisting that such claims were unfounded.

“It amazes me when I hear people mention my name and say I was the one who reported them. They are his friends, so you can imagine what is going on,” he said.

Showboy also reacted to comments previously made by spiritual leader Ajagurajah, who had reportedly spoken about a negative spiritual sign surrounding Criss Waddle.

According to him, Criss Waddle is unlikely to be concerned by such prophecies because he allegedly understands the circumstances surrounding his situation better than others.

“For Ajagurajah to claim that he has seen a bad wind coming from abroad towards Criss Waddle, he is not bothered because he knows what is going on. When he started associating with these officers, Ajagurajah was not even popular on the internet,” he added.
